Is there a fee to collect at Australia Post?
Yes, a $10 AUD shipping fee applies to delivered orders and you see it before you pay. There are no other charges, the rate you lock in online is the rate you get, whichever outlet you choose. The fee is the same for a city post office or a regional one.
What do I need to bring to collect my order?
Your order confirmation, on your phone or printed and the same photo ID you used when ordering, such as a driver licence or passport. Only the person named on the order can collect it, so place the order in the traveller's own name.
Can I collect from a regional or country post office?
Yes, if it is a participating outlet. I live in Sydney. Where do I collect my order?
At whichever participating Australia Post outlet is easiest for you to reach, you pick it at checkout, from the CBD out to Parramatta, Penrith, Liverpool and the Northern Beaches. Our George Street address is an office and does not hold cash, so a post office near home or work is the one to choose.
Can you buy foreign currency at Australia Post?
Yes. Australia Post sells foreign cash through participating post offices and participating outlets are also where you collect a Money2Travel order. Ordering with us means you lock in our online exclusive rate before you go, choose the outlet at checkout and collect when we tell you it is ready, typically within 2-4 business days.
